Choose support around your household.
A useful starting point is the work your home needs, rather than a package name. Make a short outline, then ask AVC how the available service options fit it.
Start with the role
Describe the daily tasks and the experience relevant to them. Keep the scope clear so the household, worker, and service team can discuss the same expectations.
- Which household tasks are essential?
- Is relevant childcare or other particular experience needed?
- Which languages would help day-to-day communication?
Set out the schedule
Ongoing household support and help for a defined period raise different questions. If you have dates or hours in mind, share them before discussing a service.
- When would you like support to begin?
- Is the need ongoing or for a particular period?
- What living arrangements or travel expectations need discussion?
Understand the arrangement
MoHRE’s guide distinguishes models with the worker on the employer’s record from models registered with the recruitment office. Ask which model applies and what each party is responsible for.
- Who is the worker registered with?
- What are the full upfront and recurring costs?
- What does the written agreement include and exclude?
Ready to discuss the role?
Share your household outline and ask AVC to explain the current options.
